Smith supports many local organizations through sponsorship programs and monetary donations, not only in our community, but also in the communities with which we work. In the past 10 years, we have donated over $4 million to businesses and organizations throughout the state of Wisconsin, from small community clubs to large non-profit organizations. ## Giving Back and Building Strong Communities #### Building the Future and Giving Back to Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to building and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children in need. Their motto: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!® When we learned the number of kids who experience “bed-lessness” in our communities, we knew we had to step up. Building the future is at the heart of what we do at C.D. Smith. That’s why we knew this was one of the causes we could wrap our hearts and hammers around. We recognize the importance youth sports and extracurricular programs play in child development and life skills, as well as the value church programs can bring to our people and our community. ## How We Get Involved C.D. Smith encourages its employees to be active members of their communities. Many of our employees serve as board members, officials, or regular volunteers for local organizations that they support.   Furthermore,  we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities in which we live, work and play. In order to support the charitable efforts of our employees, C.D. Smith matches employee contributions, dollar for dollar, to an approved nonprofit organization of their choice.    Through volunteer efforts, sponsorships, donations, and matching gift programs, we are able to  support a number of excellent community programs and organizations including, but not limited to:   ![2019---Community---Logos---All](https://www.cdsmith.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2019---Community---Logos---All.png?width=1400&name=2019---Community---Logos---All.png)     [![Request a donation or sponsorship](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/4266545/aa629bbf-7945-4e0b-85ff-bf8b5511e74b.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/4266545/aa629bbf-7945-4e0b-85ff-bf8b5511e74b) ## Community Sponsorship & Donation Request Form Organizations seeking a **donation, sponsorship or foundation support** from C.D.
