C.D. Smith Construction provided General Contracting services for the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee.
The 200+ room hotel is located southwest of Wisconsin Avenue and Milwaukee Street. The L-shaped hotel wraps around a beautifully restored and renovated corner building, preserving the original facades of 19th century buildings along Wisconsin Avenue, while the modern brick building rejuvenates the Milwaukee Street side. The final product gives nod to both the new and old, and created successful outcomes for both sides of a divided community.
