C.D. Smith served as Construction Manager for Spur 16, a mixed-use town center development located approximately 15 minutes north of Milwaukee and bordering Lake Michigan. Adjacent to Mequon’s City Hall, Library and the Interurban Bike Trail, the project supports the city’s vision for a connected community destination that complements surrounding civic and recreational amenities.

Spur 16 features a mix of retail, multi-family housing, townhomes and public spaces. The residential components include a clubhouse with a pool and fitness center, along with pedestrian-friendly access to on-site retail and gathering areas. The development also incorporates a public market and restaurant concept with nine local restaurant options. To retain Mequon’s historic charm, three existing buildings were reused as part of the overall aesthetic.
