The Sheboygan Water Utility has embarked on a comprehensive plan to revitalize its raw water infrastructure. This ambitious multi-phase project is the largest for the utility since 1959.

Addressing Critical Needs: The existing 30-inch intake and shore well have surpassed their typical 100-year service life. The current intake capacity needs to be improved to meet maximum and average daily demand. Additionally, the vulnerability of the intakes to winter icing, runoff, and the risk of flooding in the low lift pump station, added to the urgency for improvements.

• 4,250 SF Pump-House
• 252,860+/- Gallon Wet Wall Tank
• 60-inch Diameter Pre-stressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe [PCCP]
   - 6,500-foot-long Lake Michigan Intake Pipe
   - 400-foot-long Future Intake Pipe Stub
• 220+ Tons of Rebar
• 2,479+ Cubic Yards of Concrete
• Supplying 60,500 Sheboygan County Residents

$565 Million+
