The Laconia Middle School and High School renovation and expansion project is complete! This project marks a significant investment in the future of the Rosendale-Brandon School District. Designed to meet the evolving needs of both middle and high school students, the project focused on increasing capacity, improving functionality, and modernizing learning environments across the campus.
The multi-phase construction approach allowed the school to remain operational while major improvements were completed. Initial phases included the construction of a new cafeteria and classrooms. As the project progressed, additional phases introduced a secure front entrance and expanded administrative offices, enhancing both safety and operational efficiency.
Athletic and student support spaces were also significantly upgraded, with new gymnasium and locker room additions. Renovations to existing areas addressed aging infrastructure, improved building systems, and refreshed instructional spaces, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the facility.
Beyond the building itself, the project included site improvements such as expanded parking, enhanced traffic flow, and safer drop-off and pick-up areas, creating a more efficient and welcoming campus environment for students, staff, and visitors.
The updated facilities offer students modern, well-designed learning environments that encourage collaboration, engagement, and academic success. This project represents lasting commitment to educational excellence and helps pave the way for a brighter future for the Rosendale-Brandon School District and its graduates.
