PULASKI, Wis. – (Feb. 29, 2024) – Pulaski High School held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, February 29, 2024, to celebrate a new technical education addition.

The Pulaski High School Red Raider Band and Choir welcomed high school staff, parents, the public, and students. The event featured a brief program with speeches from key individuals, including Allison Space, Superintendent of the Pulaski Community School District; Andy Smedberg, Project Manager at C.D. Smith; Andrew Kerr, Project Delivery Leader at Bray Architects; and Matt Smith, the principal at Pulaski High School. The ceremony culminated with the symbolic turning of the dirt.

The project involves expanding the Tech Ed Department, with significant updates to include space for automotive mechanics, small engine repair, electronics, metals fabrication, woods and construction technologies with hands-on learning that prepares students for real-life opportunities.

Superintendent Allison Space and high school principal Matt Smith expressed their gratitude to the community and excitement for the learning made possible by the expansion, enabling the district to better serve our youth, local businesses and the community as a whole by preparing students for a bright future upon graduation.
