Marian University: Dr. Richard and Leslie Ridenour Science Center

The Dr. Richard and Leslie Ridenour Science Center Addition project called for the transformation of the existing 50+ year-old science building into an open, student-focused learning center. The updated facility was necessary to accommodate growth in Marian’s STEM programs, such as biology, chemistry, forensic science and math. Student and staff input was considered in the facility planning to ensure that the requirements of a 21st-century learning environment were met to both attract and retain students. In addition to serving the students and staff of Marian University, the new facility will also be used for the Upward Bound Math and Science Program (UBMS), a program designed to educate and assist local first-generation and low-income high school students with graduation, transition to college, and the pursuit of post-secondary degrees in Math and Science.

Features include:

  • State-of-the-art laboratories
  • Classrooms
  • Study spaces
  • Open learning areas
