Due to veteran complaints about parking and traffic issues at the University Drive campus after the Highland Drive campus closure in 2013, the VA decided to build a new outpatient clinic in Allegheny County. Monroeville was chosen as the location due to a high concentration of veterans residing on the eastern side of the county.
The VA is opening a new outpatient clinic in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
