YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award

Congratulations to our very own Chris Badtke for receiving the Fond du Lac Family YMCA’s Volunteer of the Year Award! Chris currently serves on the Board of Directors, sitting on the property committee to be a voice of reason and responsibility, leading improvement efforts for the facilities and services provided by the Fond du Lac Family YMCA for its nearly 12,000 members.

The Volunteer of the Year Award is awarded to someone who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the Y throughout the year, but in particular when the Y needs them the most. In the spring of 2019 when the YMCA experienced tremendous flooding, Chris pledged his support in helping to overcome the damage. From the beginning, Chris served as a leader to get the job done, spending countless hours to implement a smooth process, enabling the facility to get back up and running within days of the flood. We are proud of the work that he has done with the Fond du Lac Family YMCA and his “get it done” mentality towards all projects. Congrats, Chris!
