Ashwaubenon School District
C.D. Smith was hired by the Village of Ashwaubenon and the Ashwaubenon School District to construct pool and auditorium additions for use by the students and residents of the entire Ashwaubenon community.
Initially the project was hard bid through the Village of Ashwaubenon. These bids came in $3.5 million over
budget. The Village then elected to interview Construction Managers to assist with value engineering to lower the overall cost. C.D. Smith interviewed and was selected. We worked closely with the architect and owner to provide viable options to lower costs. After the owner approved the cost saving options, the architect revised the plans and the project went out to bid. C.D. Smith was the low bidder and was awarded the project.
