At C.D. Smith, employees thrive on good old-fashioned competition among departments, effortlessly turning friendly rivalry into support for local charities. Every spring, departments are invited to assemble themed baskets for the Easter Basket Raffle, showcasing their creativity with offerings ranging from sports gear, games, food and beverages, and exciting event experiences. All proceeds from ticket sales go straight to charity, with the department whose basket gets the most submissions earning the privilege of selecting local non-profit organizations to receive the funds. This year, an impressive $2,230 was raised, with the Project Management team selecting the proceeds to benefit Fondy Food Pantry and Holyland Food Pantry.
