Project Spotlight: Nature’s Way
This past June, crews broke ground at Nature's Way's new office site. Hired by Nature's Way as the Construction Manager, C.D. Smith also is self-performing the concrete foundations, masonry work, structural steel, rough carpentry and finish carpentry. When completed, the building will be 46,705 square feet.
Nature's Way's new office will include an open concept and large glass doors and frames for high-quality views throughout the building. Multiple collaboration spaces and conference rooms will provide ample opportunities for team building exercises. Employees will be able to connect while dining in the large cafeteria space or socializing on the outdoor patio and balcony.
"This project has a very tight schedule so every milestone is key," Josh Rooker, C.D. Smith Project Manager, explains. "The main milestone we are currently working towards is enclosing the building 100% by mid-November." The project’s substantial completion is March 31, 2021, with site improvements and landscaping carrying into June 2021.
"I'd like to give a big shout out to all of our field personnel." Josh, proudly shares. "All trades have worked great together up to this point to stay on schedule. C.D. Smith's field employees are always willing to put in the extra work when needed to ensure work gets done on time and this project was no exception!"
