C.D. Smith Construction Team Member Spotlight on Project Manager Zach Rosanske

Project Manager Zach Rosanske is in the C.D. Smith team member spotlight for his lifelong passion for learning, leadership and getting it done right!

In September, I met up with Zach Rosanske while filming completion photos of the Fond du Lac School District's Phase II Referendum work. We toured five schools before the students arrived for the new year and saw the additions and upgrades before the first day of school. Zach was the Project Engineer on a few of the FDL School District's projects, including Chegwin Waters, Sabish, Woodworth and Evans.

As a high school graduate of the FDL school system, Zach told me about his days at Fondy and Sabish, along with what was the same and what had changed. I could instantly tell he truly enjoys what he does and loves working in the town he grew up in.

There wasn't a teacher, facility worker, or administrator during our tour who didn't know Zach by name. He interacted with the tradesman working on final finishes before the next day's start of school with a quick step and a smile -- truly representing the core value of GET IT DONE RIGHT. I was impressed by his knowledge of the scope of work and guidance as I captured the upgrades through video.

While we were at Sabish, Zach found an old yearbook with photos of himself. Throughout his younger years, you could see he had a passion for learning and leadership.

His personal history with the project has led to invaluable insight and relationships to aid in planning, project management and building client relationships. "I find it very rewarding to see all the hard work completed by CDS this summer just in time to open the doors for students to return to their renovated spaces," Zach remarked.

After high school, Zach attended the UW-Fond du Lac and then finished his degree at UW-Stout in business management/project management. While attending college, Zach worked at CDS as a labor. "It's great to work in the community where I grew up and even in the schools that I attended," Zach shared.
