C.D. Smith was awarded construction management services for Breakwater Condominiums, a luxurious 20-story tower located in Milwaukee’s Lower East Side.
With impressive views of Lake Michigan, each unit features large windows that provide exceptional amounts of natural light in addition to a personal, large deck. The kitchen and dining area serves as the focal point of each unit, featuring large open spaces, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and track lighting that provides a warm glow in the evening.
Designed to achieve maximum acoustic separation, the walls between units are composed of poured-in-place concrete. The flooring consists of a 12-inch Spancrete level slab, rubber matting, plywood and tar paper layered underneath hardwood flooring.
