C.D. Smith was hired as Construction Manager for an addition and renovations at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish. The 40,181 SF school addition was built on the existing parish to expand the K4-8 Parish Grade School and Christian formation education programs offered to members of the church. Classrooms were designed specifically to foster optimal learning environments in Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Math (STREAM), featuring a variety of learning stations as well as modern technology. Additionally, the school was built with two reading and literature areas arranged to nurture the wide spectrum of students’ levels and abilities. The project also features a Fellowship Hall with the capacity to seat 250 people. Renovations were made to modernize and update the existing offices for the parish.
