Three municipal functions are housed in this facility. Milwaukee’s third district police station is located on the first floor; fire department administration and an emergency operations center inhabit the second floor; and emergency dispatchers work on the third floor.

The building consists of 20 cells, 1,000 data-ports, 400 teleports and a 225-space parking structure. The second and third floors feature raised floors to allow for cables as they are computer-based floors and need flexible space that will remain up to date as technology changes.
