The Student Recreation and Wellness Center was built on the southwest edge of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh campus. The center is devoted to wellness, recreation and intramural programs for students. The facility features state-of-the-art construction with an energy star rated roof, as well as an automated temperature and humidity monitoring system.

The first floor of the facility includes a cardio and weight center, a multipurpose athletic court, a three-court gym, a climbing wall, offices, locker rooms, a juice bar and a media center. The second floor consists of three multipurpose rooms and a running track, as well as additional cardio areas.

The facility also contains a wellness/fitness assessment area, golf and hunting simulators, a babysitting center and an outdoor recreation center. The building is primarily masonry construction with exterior walls of brick, block and curtainwall. Due to the quality of the soils, the foundation system has piles with a structural first floor slab. The floor and roof structure are steel frame.
