MARIAN UNIVERSITY RIBBON CUTTING FOR NURSING RENOVATION + PINNING CEREMONY
FOND DU LAC, Wis. – (Dec. 14, 2023) – Five months ago, C.D. Smith Construction started breaking through walls in the Stayer Center at Marian University. Now the renovation of Marian’s new, state-of-the-art Nursing space, by C.D. Smith, is complete and ahead of schedule. There will be a Ribbon Cutting in the Stayer Center on the Marian Campus this Friday, December 15th at 3:00 pm, followed by an opportunity to tour the new space and enjoy light refreshments.
The Ribbon Cutting will take place at the conclusion of the Nursing Pinning Ceremony, which begins at 2:00 pm in the Sadoff Auditorium of the Stayer Center. The Pinning Ceremony is where both bachelor’s and master’s students are welcomed into the Nursing profession. Marian’s Winter Commencement will take place at 6:00 pm that evening.
“The new Nursing space is gorgeous,” said Michelle Majewski, President of Marian University. “If you want to be a nurse or nurse leader, Marian is the place to be.”

“Students have already been slipping into the study and collaborative spaces for Finals Week this week,” said Cheryl Seelig, Associate Dean of Nursing and Chief Nurse Administrator. “We’re thrilled with the renovation and grateful to all the donors who are helping us continue our important mission.”
