C.D. Smith served as General Contractor for the $7.7 million development of St. Mary’s Springs Academy’s Stone Family Athletic Complex, creating a modern home for athletics, school events and the community.

A new game-day experience

A new 2,304-square-foot, two-story concessions and operations building features expanded restrooms, ticketing, storage and a second-floor operations suite. A new 650-square-foot press box is equipped with integrated power and data for modern broadcasting, film review and game-day operations. Upgraded bleachers added 1,624 seats with ADA-compliant access platforms.

More than one mile of low-voltage cabling supports lighting, communications and security systems. High-efficiency LED stadium lighting and parking improvements with new surfacing, lighting and safer pedestrian circulation further enhance the complex.

ready for opening night

 The completed athletic complex provides a modern setting for athletics, community engagement and school pride. C.D. Smith self-performed building concrete, steel framing, masonry, precast installation and rough and finish carpentry. The project was delivered on budget and in time for the 2026–27 season opener.
