Johnsonville Marketplace is located across the street from the Johnsonville Headquarters. Johnsonville created this unique destination shopping experience to showcase its products, people and 75-year history. At Johnsonville Marketplace, employees and enthusiasts discover Johnsonville branded items that are not available anywhere else.
As the number-one national sausage brand in America, Johnsonville's 3,200 square-foot sausage showcase is a destination for thousands of sausage enthusiasts. The public and Johnsonville employees can browse a large selection of Johnsonville merchandise, apparel and themed gift boxes. Additionally, an outdoor grilling station is set to host charity brat fries, cooking demonstrations and special events.
Located in a remote part of Sheboygan Falls, the Johnsonville Marketplace will bring tourism to rural Wisconsin. Additionally, over 2,000 Johnsonville employees will have the opportunity to celebrate their company and community through a unique selection of branded apparel and merchandise found at Johnsonville Marketplace.
The exterior canted wall and large windows give a unique volume of space to the retail shop. Johnsonville branding and history have been woven throughout the building's design to celebrate its people, unique products and 75 years of local manufacturing. The modern shape and interior space were created using glued laminated timber. Canted walls with curtain windows let in natural sunlight while deflecting direct light away from products. A paved patio outfitted with grills provides a unique space to host brat fries for charities, barbecues and special events.
Johnsonville Marketplace features on-site underground stormwater storage and management systems. A curtain wall design, high R-value insulation, LED lighting and efficient glazing to protect from heat gain are all used to save operating costs and energy use. A structure comprised of glue-laminated timber provides eco-friendly strength while the exterior insulation and wall composition provide superior thermal quality. In addition, canted walls reflect sunlight and prevent heat gain, further enhancing the building's efficiency.
