October 4, 2022 | The Continental Project Update

Hello Neighbors,

We will be disassembling our tower crane October 31st – November 4th, 2022. This will require a full closure of the intersection of North Hancock St and East Washington Ave, as well as establishing a temporary two-way traffic pattern on North Hancock St to the intersection at East Mifflin St. All street parking on this portion of North Hancock St will not be permitted during the duration of this process. North Hancock St will be properly signed to assist in this transition and access to driveways will always be maintained.

Thank you for your continued understanding.

If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Molly Haack at mhaack@cdsmith.com or call 920-517-3613. We continue our commitment to the safety of all and the best construction experience possible.

October 4, 2021 | The Continental Project Update

Hello Neighbors,

As promised, we are keeping you updated on construction happenings and traffic disruptions.

C.D. Smith will be pumping a concrete slab on Wednesday, October 6 starting at 7:00 am on N. Hancock St. There will be a concrete pumping truck set up at the west corner of our jobsite that will limit the street to one lane of vehicle travel from the driveway apron of St. John's Church to the intersection at E. Washington Ave. All buildings will still be accessible and will not be blocked for vehicle traffic. Please be aware that there will be a flagman at the pumping truck directing traffic.

This operation is anticipated to occur each time C.D. Smith will be pouring a slab on the south side of the jobsite for a total of 13 occurrences. We will communicate when these are to occur in the future.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as construction progresses.

If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Molly Haack at mhaack@cdsmith.com or call 920-517-3613. We continue our commitment to the safety of all and the best construction experience possible.

June 3, 2021 | The Continental Project Update

Hello Neighbors,

As promised, we are working to keep you informed of upcoming activity on the Continental jobsite.

Excavation and earth retention will continue through the month of June. Dump truck traffic will be heavy at the corner of E. Washington and N. Franklin Street as we access the excavation site. Dump truck backup alarms and excavator alarms will be heard throughout the day.

Concrete foundation activities will begin in late June or early July. This will include semi-truck deliveries to the jobsite and concrete trucks entering and leaving the jobsite from N. Franklin Street. A crane will be delivered to the site to assist with deliveries of rebar and concrete.

We are sensitive to noise and vibration concerns and will do what we can to minimize them throughout the duration of this project. The expected completion is early fall 2022.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Molly Haack at mhaack@cdsmith.com or call 920-517-3613. We continue our commitment to the safety of all and the best construction experience possible.
