Earlier in July, C.D. Smith team members volunteered to bartend at the Fond du Lac County Fair while raising tips for the Back to School FDL area program!
The Fond du Lac County Fair has provided education, entertainment and affordable family fun for the past 170 years! Whether you experience the Fair as an exhibitor, community member or volunteer, the rich agricultural heritage of Fond du Lac area community members is the main focus. As volunteers, C.D. Smith employees donated their time in exchange for good tunes, great company and the opportunity to GIVE BACK to two amazing organizations. I think all of our volunteers would agree that this is a do not miss volunteer event!
Between the two nights of bartending, our teams raised $1,238.75 for Back to School FDL area program. A full backpack of supplies costs roughly $75 per kid, and there are over 1,900 children registered within Fond du Lac County.

If you were unable to volunteer at the Fair, but are interested in giving back, volunteer opportunities are still available both organizing and packing school supplies on Friday, August 20th, and on Distribution Day on Saturday, August 21st.
